Heirloom & Heritage

OVERVIEW

Objective:

Heirloom & Heritage, offering curated fine craft packages, designed for lasting legacy, needed a distinctive brand. The essence of bold elegance and luxury was captured to stand out in the market of personalised heirloom products.

Approach:

Inspiration was drawn from the rich history of heraldry to create a visual identity that embodied the timeless values of Heirloom & Heritage while embracing a classic-contemporary aesthetic. Symbols of traditional heraldry, each reimagined with an artisanal touch, were incorporated into the brand’s logo and branding, telling a story of artistic craftsmanship and enduring legacy. A book representing ‘Willingness to Learn’, a wheel symbolising ‘industry’, a kingfisher representing ‘Halcyon of the Ancients’, and an olive branch symbolizing peace. Additionally, the Parkman Bandstand in Boston, positioned at the top of the logo, represented the company’s base. The imprecise lines throughout the design echo the texture of a lino print or woodcut, adding depth and character to the overall aesthetic.

A harmonious mix of classic and contemporary colors, paired with san-serif display fonts, further enhanced the brand’s modern yet crafted personality.

Results:

The new branding for Heirloom & Heritage reflected a seamless fusion of classic elegance and contemporary flair, resonating with discerning clients seeking timeless treasures. By infusing the brand with storytelling elements inspired by heraldic tradition, the values of craftsmanship and heritage were effectively conveyed. The logo and branding served as a heraldic symbol of distinction, capturing the essence of Heirloom & Heritage’s commitment to excellence and lasting legacy.
